🗺️ Overview of All 9 Hozy Locations
Locations unlock in sequence as you complete each renovation on the world map. You can replay any completed location at any time. The order follows the narrative arc of the main character's return to their hometown — beginning with their own childhood attic and gradually expanding outward into the community. Each location introduces at least one new furniture category or mechanic not seen in previous rooms.

🔓 How Locations Unlock in Hozy
Hozy uses a linear unlock system tied to the world map. When you complete all tasks in a location and take a final photo, the next location on the map becomes available. There is no level-select gate — you must complete locations in order for your first playthrough.
Once all nine locations are completed, the world map remains fully accessible. Every location can be replayed as many times as you like, with your most recent save state preserved per room. This makes Hozy ideal for players who want to continuously refine and redecorate their favourite spaces.
Some players have noted that later locations (Level 6 onwards) feel significantly more complex and reward players who have developed strong spatial instincts from the earlier rooms. If you find a later level overwhelming, replaying an earlier location to practice tool mastery can help.
🔍 Location Secrets & Hidden Interactions
🏠 Parents' Home — The Attic
Right-click the old fireplace to light it. The warm glow changes the mood of the whole room dramatically.
🎨 Artist's Workshop
There is a hidden interactable paint palette on the workbench — right-click it to see a colour-mixing animation.
🏙️ Little Sister's Downtown Apartment
Right-click the piano keys for a brief musical interaction — a short melody plays.
☕ Old Café
Right-click the chalkboard after placing it to write a custom message (limited preset options).
🔬 Eccentric Scientist's Apartment
Right-click the orrery (mechanical solar system model) to see it spin — one of the most satisfying interactions in the game.
🎵 Music Room
All instruments can be played sequentially to trigger a hidden jingle. Play guitar, then piano, then violin, then drum — a short melody plays as a reward.
🌙 Dreamlike Space
Place all seven candles in a circular arrangement to trigger a soft particle effect that fills the room.
🌊 Father's Seaside Retreat
Right-click the telescope after placing it by the window to trigger a 'zoom to horizon' camera cutscene.
🕹️ The Geek Cupboard / Hobby Room
Right-click the mini fridge to open it and find a hidden easter egg collectible inside.
